TRA's Annual Fund one of the most important ways that alumni, parents, and friends support our school. Gifts made to the Annual Fund provide "budget relieving" support to some of the most important areas on campus including academic support, student activities, emergency capital expenditures, facility upgrades, and teacher/classroom needs . Annual Fund gifts are expended in the same fiscal year in which they are received.

Although we prefer to receive unrestricted gifts that can be applied to the most important budgetary needs, some donors prefer to specify the use of their gift. Designated, as well as unrestricted gifts are greatly appreciated.

Making a gift every year makes a statement that you believe in TRA's mission and support the unique educational experience we provide. Your annual gift offers vital support to the immediate operating budget. Additionally, it helps to ensure that we have the funds needed to provide a college-preparatory experience of the highest quality while maintaining a balanced budget.

TRA's fiscal year runs from July 1^st through June 30^th.

First and foremost, full participation helps us meet our development goal. But perhaps just as importantly, it allows us to show strong parent support and engagement when we approach outside sources for contributions. Corporate and outside donors invariably want to know if the parents, alumni and grandparents support the school. Participation in the Annual Fund demonstrates to others that we support our mission and goals. Every gift, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated and important to our success.

Participation is more important that dollar amount. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated! 

Many employers will match gifts made by their employees, retirees, and directors to non-profit organizations; some even offer a higher than 1 to 1 match. To see if your company offers matching or to get a matching gift form, you may contact your company’s human resources department. By spending a few short minutes filling out a simple form, you can often double the power of your gift.

Yes. We will provide a receipt for the amount of your gift.

Yes. Contact the Advancement Office to set up a payment plan. 

100% participation from faculty, staff and parents is always the participation goal for the annual fund. This year we have set a goal of $100,000. 

Named for the Academy’s founding year, The 1965 Society recognizes donors that give $1,000 or greater to the TRA Annual Fund.  Just as gifts of all sizes inspire others to give, those that can give gifts at the $1000 level may inspire others to give more. Supporters at The 1965 Society level will be invited to a special event during the school year.
