Tuition & Tuition Assistance Information

The tardy bell rings at 7:50am each morning.  School dismisses at 2:50pm each afternoon.  Preschool students may be picked up at 2:30pm.  

Students are allowed to enter the building at 7:15am each morning and lower school students report to early morning rooms.  We do not offer before care prior to  7:15am.

We do offer aftercare until 6:00pm each day (unless otherwise noted) for an additional fee.  The aftercare program is also available during the summer.  

After & Summer Care Information

To ensure the best education possible, Tipton-Rosemark Academy is dual-accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

All of our teachers are certified, with more than half holding master's degrees.

We have a full-time Campus Security Resource Officer. 

All windows and glass on all doors are covered in a SolarTech film which secures glass in place during break-in attempts, weather emergencies, and other threats. 

All of our buildings are secured. Teachers and staff are equipped with fobs used to enter each building. Visitors and students must be buzzed into each building. Students are NOT allowed to open exterior doors for anyone. 

Campus security cameras were updated in 2023. 

All teachers have been trained on an intruder plan and all are CPR certified on a yearly basis.

Our average school wide student/teacher ratio is 18:1.  This number varies from grade to grade.

We are a 1:1 technology school, using iPads and MacBook Airs in PreK 2 through 12th grade. Our preschool through 2nd grade classrooms are equipped with iPads. Beginning in 3rd grade, our students use MacBook Airs. 5th grade is the first year students are able to take their laptops home on a daily basis. 

The technology fee is included in the tuition. 

Teachers use technology at their discretion. Most teachers use a combination of traditional text books, e-books, and age appropriate websites, apps and communication tools. 

All classrooms are equipped with a flatscreen tv, allowing the teachers and students to share information on their laptops with the class. 

The Christian spirit runs deep throughout our school. It's more than a bible class or chapel service. It's about our alumni, teachers, students, parents and grandparents and the way we interact, communicate, teach and do our best to be good Christian stewards. We are a non-denominational, Christian school not associated with any church. 

We begin each day with the National Anthem, a prayer and devotions in the classroom. 

Our preschool teachers use portions of the ABEKA curriculum - a Christian based curriculum. 

Our elementary students attend a weekly bible class beginning in Kindergarten. Preschool and elementary students and teachers attend weekly chapel services held at Noon each Wednesday.

Middle school and high school students have bible class requirements. Seniors take an Apologetic "Defending your Faith" course. Upper School students attend chapel every Thursday morning. 

Prayer requests are a normal part of our students' day. 

Our students take an optional mission trip to the Dominican Republic during the summer in between their junior & senior year. 

Community service is encouraged school-wide. 

Students sign an honor code agreement upon entering the school.

Family is an integral part of TRA.  We seek families who will not only take a strong interest in their child's development, but who will also partner with us to support their education.  

Parents are welcome on campus anytime! Many elementary parents read to classes, assist with special classroom projects, participate in class parties, attend field trips and eat lunch with their children on a regular basis. 

We have active PTO, Booster Club and Fine Arts parent organizations. 

Our teachers and parents work together as a team!

Tipton-Rosemark Academy offers an optional bus service that includes one bus and runs North to Ripley and Covington, with a few stops on the way back through the Atoka area.

Additionally, we have two 14 passenger vans used to transport student-athletes to sporting events. 

Our seniors are required to apply to at least three colleges their senior year.  Our senior classes have a 100% college acceptance rate.

ACT Information

We follow the State of Tennessee guidelines for admission.

PreK 2 - student must be two by August 15th

PreK 3 - student must be three by August 15th 

PreK 4 - student must be four by August 15th

Kindergarten - student must be five by August 15th

PreK 2 students are not required to be potty trained. Students entering PreK 3 and above must be potty trained prior to starting school in August. 

A potty trained child is a child who can do the following:

1. Be able to TELL the adult they have to go potty BEFORE they have to go.
2. Be able to pull down their own underwear and pants and get them back up without assistance. 
3. Be able to wipe themselves after using the toilet. 
4. Be able to get on and off the potty by themselves. 
5. Be able to wash and dry their hands. 
6. Be able to go back to the room without directions. 
7. Be able to postpone going for a reasonable amount of time if the bathroom is occupied or they are outside or away from the restroom. 

Yes!  If space is available in a grade, we will admit students throughout the school year. 

All students in grades 3K - 12 are required to follow the TRA uniform policy.  Land's End is the official vendor for TRA uniforms.
