Spanish

Beginning with even our youngest toddlers, the students at Tipton Rosemark Academy  Lower School are introduced to the Spanish language and Latin culture.  Through meaningful, fun, and interactive instruction, students not only gain information about and appreciation for another culture while more fully understanding their own, but also increase cognitive growth and improve social skills.

Within our Spanish program, students will be guided to higher level thinking skills by answering such questions as:

• How does studying the Spanish language and Latin culture benefit me?
• How can I communicate to others using the Spanish language?
• How does learning Spanish help me be a more global citizen?

Our Spanish curriculum focuses on the Standards for Foreign Language Learning: communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities.
