Lower School Academics
Our Lower School, which includes grades 2-year-old kindergarten through fifth grade, provides a dynamic curriculum and vibrant learning environment which focuses on each child as an individual. Our staff is exceptionally qualified and values teaching grade appropriate foundational skills, balanced with critical thinking and problem solving. Our teachers adapt what is being taught to the needs of the individual classroom and the changing needs of each student. Differentiation of instruction is supported and enhanced by the 1:1 technology in our school.
Our lower school students are provided many opportunities daily to collaborate, discover, explore, and create while learning in a Christ-centered environment. Our teachers use various materials and teaching strategies to ensure your child masters the skills necessary to succeed not only academically, but also spiritually, emotionally, and physically as well.
Our Lower School curriculum has been carefully chosen. It is reviewed and adapted yearly after we analyze our ACT Aspire scores, our students preparedness for the next grade level, and evaluations by our teachers. Our students attend enrichment classes including Bible, Spanish, Library, P.E., Music and STEAM. They also attend weekly Chapel services in our Performing Arts Center.
Through the instruction of our Bible curriculum, core subjects and enrichment classes, we exemplify our Mission Statement of a school "grounded in both Christ and family and dedicated to guiding our students toward their full potential."

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
