The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Fine Arts Department encourages every student in our program to fully develop his or her talents to glorify God and to strive for excellence through the arts. Our Fine Arts Program offers vocal, theatrical and visual art opportunities for all students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
The Annual TRA Talent Show was held on Saturday, January 29th. The elementary show was at 5pm and the upper school show, which is also a Mid-South Fair Qualifying event, was at 7pm. Congratulations to the contest winners and Mid-South Fair invitees!
BEST OF SHOW was Logan Vaughn and Maddye Regis who performed a vocal duet - Defying Gravity. They will go on to represent TRA in the Mid-South Talent Fair next fall. 1st runner up - Annie Miller (Classical Vocal Solo), 2nd runner up - Rachel Vernon (Lyrical Dance Solo), Third runner up - Maddye Regis (Musical Theatre Vocal Solo), Fourth runner up - McKenzie Brower (Lyrical Dance Solo), Best Showmanship - Victoria Jones and Michaela Hoover (Broadway Vocal Duet), Most Original Act - McKenzie Brower (Lyrical Dance Solo), Best Group Performance - Logan Vaughn and Maddye Regis (Vocal Duet), Audience Choice Award - Michaela Hoover and Victoria Jones (Broadway Vocal Duet). The following contestants also received invitations to perform at the Mid-South Fair: Logan Vaughn and Maddye Regis, Annie Miller, Rachel Vernon, McKenzie Brower, Tyler Vernon, Maddye Regis, Victoria Jones and Michaela Hoover, Elizabeth Starnes, Morgan Curle, Madison Cranford, Shelbi Sellers, Daniel Stafford and Logan King.
