Upper School Curriculum

The upper school has developed two age appropriate schedules for the middle grades and high school grades. In the middle grades (6-8) the health and physical education. programs provide a structured exercise program for students. Each middle school student takes a semester class in Bible and one in computer each year. Middle school computer classes focus on training in keyboarding, power point, and internet research. Enrichment rotation classes include music, art, and drama classes.

Grade 6: English, reading, math, world history, and science (emphasis on earth science)
Grade 7: English, reading, pre algebra, geography, and science (emphasis on life science)
Grade 8: English, reading, Algebra I, American history, and physical science

In keeping with the school philosophy of educating the total child, middle school students are offered a variety of clubs and organizations that meet on a regular schedule. In grades 9-12, multiple level courses are designed to provide flexibility for individual differences and abilities for students.
