Books may be checked out for two weeks with one renewal.
Lost Books: If a student loses a book, he or she will be charged a minimum fee of $15.00 to replace a hardcover and $8.00 for a paperback. The student must pay for the book before another item can be borrowed from the library. In the event that the book is found in good condition during the school year, the lost book charge will be returned to the student.
Overdue Books: There is a fine of $0.05 a day for overdue books after the two week period. Over due notices will be sent home with the fee fine attached. While we believe an automated system has eliminated many mistakes, humans operate the computers and mistakes do happen. If you believe an overdue notice is incorrect, please return it to the library along with a brief explanation and I will be happy to review our records.
